Our meet this Thursday, June 12th is against Woodmont Wahoos! Below is some meet info. Please make sure you read it all as some details have been added specifically for this meet.

Location: 202 Chadwyck Lane Canton Ga 30115

Arrival: Arrive no earlier than 5pm. The pool deck will be cleared, so families should plan on bringing chairs.

Warm ups: Begin at 5:30. Make sure your swimmer wears their sharks shirt and brings their cap. Write their first name and age on their back right shoulder. Follow our Swim Meet 101 instructions on our website for how to write swimmers entries on their arm. townelakesharks.swimtopia.com

Check-in: ALL swimmers and volunteers must check in with us when you arrive. We need to know you are here. We are updating meet details up until the meet begins so the app is not always correct with your races. You must come grab your slip from the blue bin.

Parking: See below parking details, copied directly from our Woodmont contact and respect their parking requirements.

Please let your families know there is NO parking on Chadwyck Lane (the main road on that side of the neighborhood). We are already getting calls from residents who get angry and will try to have vehicles towed. We have a few overflow parking options.

1.Side streets off of Chadwyck (in green) - please be sure to go to the end of the street and turn around and then park on the side of the street. Please do not block driveways

2.Big Blue Marble Academy - they are located just before our neighborhood on the left and there is a sidewalk that connects their lot to our neighborhood (this is a good option for those coming a little later when the meet has already started).

3.Tennis Courts - located on the opposite entrance just a ways down on the right - also with a sidewalk to come across.

We will have golf carts patrolling the area to shuttle people to the pool.

Concessions: Hamburgers/Hot Dogs, Kona Ice, chips, drinks and candy to buy at the meet. Venmo or cash.

Weather: Like always, we will monitor. If a storm pops up, we will discuss delays as we see fit and let you know via Remind101. You must have the Remind 101 App installed on your phone and set to receive notices. It will not let us send communications via text.

Bullpen: We will have our Bullpen canopy set up somewhere on their pool deck, so make a note of where it is when you arrive. Please make sure to send your 10& under swimmers to the bullpen 5 events prior to their race. We can not come look for your swimmer and we do not hold coaches or coordinators accountable for swimmers missing their races.

We will have donuts and juice for all our swimmers tomorrow morning at practice!
