Hello Sharks Families,

We had a great first day of practice.  Thank you for coming and for your support as we navigate through this first week getting back into the swing of things.

PRACTICE AND SCHEDULE

We will have practice today but because it was a bit chilly yesterday, we will warm up the 6 and unders with a short dryland session too.  They will need shoes.  We also suggest bringing a couple of towels as they may want to warm up a bit after being in the water.

We looked at the weather for tomorrow though and it does not look good and may even be colder.  So we decided that we will cancel tomorrow's practice.  NO PRACTICE TOMORROW, WEDNESDAY, MAY 12TH.  I will send this out through Remind as well.  If you haven't joined it yet, it is the fastest way to get communications for any changes which include weather related changes.  Download the app Remind and join the TLSharks2021 class.

We will have team pictures ONE WEEK FROM TODAY, May 18th.  Be sure to wear your blue team suit that day if you have it.  Information on how to pre-order pictures will be coming out shortly.

OTHER INFORMATION

We had several ask yesterday if their friends can join the team.  YES!  We would love to have them.  Just go to our website and register at www.townelakesharks.swimtopia.com.

We will have a parent meeting next week, most likely on the same day as pictures since everyone will be there.  We will confirm and let you know the date as soon as possible.  You will have a chance to meet the coaches, learn what to expect from meets this year and ask any questions.  Of course, we are always available for questions at any time.

Volunteer positions will be available for sign up beginning next week as well.  We would still like a few more people to be on our coordinating team to help things run smoothly.  If you are interested, please contact Terri Haswell @678-858-8708 or reach out to me at practice.

If you did not pick up your swimsuit order yesterday, it will be available for pick up today.

One last note, please bring your check or cash for the concessions ($15 per family) to practice and if you are not in the Wellesley or Arbors neighborhoods, please also be prepared to pay for $25 as well.  These two fees were not charged on our registration site.
