Hello Sharks Families,

We look forward to seeing you on deck at the Wellesley pool beginning Monday, May 10th. Here is the schedule for May beginning May 10th, every Monday - Thursday through May 27th. Dryland (15 min.) will be a part of swim practice for all ages 7+ so please bring some tennis shoes and a towel.

**A great way to guarantee you swim with your friends this season is to invite your friends who are not currently on a swim team to come swim with you on our team! There is still time to sign up! They just need to go to www.townelakesharks.swimtopia.com.

We have an updated meet schedule! All meets will be virtual (at our home pool just like a normal meet, hopefully, but just half the people) except for our last meet which we are tentatively planning to be in person at Towne Lake Hills.

We will have some safety guidelines for this summer which we will be communicating soon. They are standard to what you have been seeing throughout this last year. Please be sure to like our Facebook page to keep updated with information.

We are forming committees to help the team run smoothly. The idea is to have a team of people to share responsibility of certain areas. We will have a Concessions team, Fundraiser/Sponsor team, Volunteer team, Meet/Theme team and a Marketing team. The person in charge of each team will be a part of the Coordinating Committee. If you have certain gifts or talents and want to serve in a particular area, please let Terri Haswell (678-858-8708 or [email protected]) know so she can help connect you to the right people. We love how summer swim creates such great memories for our swimmers and families and would love for you to be a part of creating that experience for our team.

WE NEED SPONSORS as soon as possible. If you or someone you know owns a local business and would want to support our community swim team, please contact Terri Haswell as soon as possible to be included on our team shirt. We would love to have a strong sponsorship and fundraising program. One of the many benefits is so that we can start a Coach Apprenticeship program where our swimmers who have grown up on our team can apply to be a part the program as their first job. Coach Amber has a desire to mentor young coaches and show them how to teach new swimmers the fundamentals and a love for swimming. It is a win-win for everyone. I am attaching a Sponsorship Letter that you can use to talk to people you know. Stacy Anderson is heading up the Sponsorship Committee.
